Keeping Track

Humans like to see growth.  When a pebble is dropped in a pond a ripple effect takes place.  This is the same when you start your life in conversation with God.  Each time you visit with him builds on each time and before you know it, the effect reaches all aspects of your life.

Keeping track by marking each day in your journal is one way of looking back on your progress without reading through all your entries.  You don't have to do it, but by glancing at your progress you may feel accomplished in seeing that you are trying. You are going step by step. Like a the ripples in the water, your growth in prayer with God will touch so many areas of your own life and beyond.  You will see your progress and you will feel your progress as your desire grows to make every part of your life a prayer.
